Energy Affiliate Program - PowerConnect
Energy Curtailment Specialists, Inc. (ECS) is the largest private demand response provider in North America, offering turnkey demand response and energy management services. Winner of the Peak Load Management Alliance's "Outstanding Program Achievement Award" in demand response, a large part of ECS' success stems from its customer-friendly programs.
Founded in Buffalo, New York in 2001, ECS had the goal of helping to ensure reliable electricity supply (i.e. prevention of blackouts) in New York State. Due to the growing need for demand response solutions, ECS expanded into energy markets across North America, helping formulate demand response program models for utilities and electric grid system operators. ECS works with thousands of customers and manages more than 3,000 MW of demand response throughout North America, equivalent to the output of several large power plants. Much of ECS’ success can be attributed to the PowerConnect affiliate program. Our PowerConnect Affiliates have helped tremendously in ECS’ growth by referring their clients to participate in our strategic and cost-effective energy programs.
ECS PowerConnect offers important and competitive energy management components to your sales portfolio. We will pay you significant $$$ for a referral of any of your clients that end up participating in any of our programs, whether that be PowerPay! Demand Response, PowerPit! When and How Do You Receive Commission Payments?
When and how you receive commission payments depends on the types of services that you choose to offer to your clients through PowerConnect. Your clients’ payments and yours for participation in demand response programs are based on the amount of kW reduction your client achieves during an emergency reduction event. For energy procurement services you will be compensated based off of your customer’s annual kWh usage. For bill auditing services you will be compensated based on the actual revenue from a refund received back on behalf of a client.
If you decide to offer Demand Response, your client’s initial negotiated payment will be based on the amount of kW they can reduce. Your actual commission payment as well as your clients’ payment is based on the amount of reduction (kW) and percentage of reduction performance that your client achieves after a demand response event or series of demand response events within a season.
If you choose to offer energy procurement to your clients, your commission will be based off of your client’s account size in terms of kilowatt hours. The higher their kWh usage, the more opportunity you have for financial compensation. You will be paid as soon as your client accepts a supplier through the PowerConnect Blind Bid auction platform.
For Bill Audit services, your commission is based on the agreed upon service level (basic, intermediate, or advanced). This percentage amount is then based on the actual revenue from the refund that ECS obtains back on behalf of your client from the utility company.
