It is imperative that you reduce as much electricity as possible between
these hours. The reduction you committed to under the program is needed
to help secure the electric grid today. Demand for electricity is
expected to potentially exceed the available supply, meaning that there
is a possibility of brownouts or blackouts in certain areas. Your payment
for the period will be based directly on your performance today.
Please note that you will also receive automated or direct telephone
calls from either our system or ECS employees, as well as emails.

like.

THE MORE ELECTRICITY YOU REDUCE, THE MORE $$$ YOU RECEIVE. If you don't
know your committed kW level, contact us ASAP for that information.
Remember that ECS awards the Blackout Buster Award to our top performing
customer each period (involves $5,000 cash bonus or season tickets to
your choice of sporting teams)
